When It's Time to Re-Sheet
Restoration and coatings do a superb job while the underlying sheeting is still sound. But once sheeting has corroded through, buckled, or lost its structural integrity, coating over it only hides the problem. New sheeting is the reset — it removes the failed skin entirely and replaces it with a fresh, fully weatherproof one. The tell-tale signs it's time:

- Material — galvanised or colour-coated steel, matched to the site's exposure and the finish you want
- Pitch & span — low-pitch roofs and wide spans carry specific drainage and fixing requirements
- Exposure — coastal salt air, industrial fumes or intense Highveld UV call for tougher coatings and detailing
- Insulation — new sheeting is the ideal moment to add or upgrade roof insulation underneath

Safe Strip-Out
The old sheeting is removed — and where asbestos is present, it's stripped and disposed of under the correct legal procedures — exposing the purlins beneath.
Structure & Purlin Checks
Purlins and fixing points are inspected and repaired so the new sheeting lands on sound, load-bearing steel rather than tired supports.
New Sheeting & Cladding
The new sheets go on with the correct fixings, laps and sealing, and the walls are clad to match — one uniform, weathertight envelope.
Flashings, Ridges & Sign-Off
Ridge caps, flashings and every weatherproofing detail are fitted, then the roof is inspected and handed over with a workmanship guarantee.
